๐ Say Hello to Comfort: Reuben Bake with Layers of Corned Beef, Sauerkraut, and Swiss Cheese! ๐ง๐ฅช๐ฅ
๐ Ingredients:
1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough ๐
1/2 lb sliced corned beef, chopped ๐ฅฉ
1 cup sauerkraut, well drained ๐ฅฌ
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese (or slices) ๐ง
1/4 cup Thousand Island or Russian dressing ๐
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash) ๐ฅ
Optional: caraway seeds for topping ๐ฑ
๐ Instructions:
1๏ธโฃ Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish or line with parchment.
2๏ธโฃ Roll out half the crescent dough in the bottom of the dish, pressing seams together to form a crust.
3๏ธโฃ Layer on the chopped corned beef, followed by an even layer of sauerkraut.
4๏ธโฃ Drizzle Thousand Island dressing over the sauerkraut.
5๏ธโฃ Sprinkle or lay Swiss cheese generously across the top.
6๏ธโฃ Roll out the second half of dough and lay over the top, pinching edges to seal. Brush with beaten egg.
7๏ธโฃ Sprinkle with caraway seeds if using, then bake for 20โ25 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
8๏ธโฃ Let cool slightly, slice into squares, and serve with extra dressing on the side!
