Thankyou Hocking Hills Medieval Festival for having us and Thankyou to everyone that came out to support this past weekend!
This was a fantastic Event to kick off the start of Ohio's Renfaire season. It's always a joy to see familiar faces and catch up with other Faire friends.
I had a grand time seeing everyone, slinging cookies,
and making people laugh.
Shout out to Lockwood Leathercraft and Tays Fae Creations for always equipping me with my next outfit piece and of course to my lovely assistant Jen of Hilltop Craft Corner
Participating at this event would not be possible without Jen. My fair Fae assistant.

My next market is this coming weekend at the Lancaster Farmers Market and then I will be off Galavanting at OREN on Sunday for Opening weekend!

With so many new faces here I wanted to make the obligatory hello post.
So here it is.
GREETINGS FAELINGS,
My name is Bekka and I am the creator and chaos behind Magandang Bakery.
My stats:
Fairy Baker, Mama of 4, Filipina Heritage, Renfaire Enthusiast, Lover of all things sweet and shiny.

Here are the top five reasons to support me.

1. At my booth you pay by cash, OR TURTLE. You know you want to pay by turtle (card); nothing says whimsy like tapping your card on a turtle to pay for your wares.

2. I have THE purple cookie. UBE. You've heard of it, it's trendy. But did you know I am Filipina and that means my cookie is legit. If you tell me it's not to sweet I can assure you my ancestors will be pleased and put in a good word for me.

3. I am the FAIRY baker of Lancaster. Your goodies were made by the fae and with that comes certain expectations. That I am dressed to the nines in the whimsy, & that my booth is too. I provide an experience, not just a cookie.

4. I understand the struggle bus of parenthood. As a mama of 4 lovely darlings myself I get it. I will always be a child friendly stop. If you bring your children to market I can almost guarantee I will be filling their pocket with treasures, cookies, and you and yours will walk away smiling.

5. You need more whimsy in your life. We all do. Everything feels so serious all the time anymore and i personally would much rather take a few hours out of my day to be a cookie slinging fairy that makes people smile & laugh, then lament over the state of the world. Choosing whimsy is to choose kindness, laughter, and hopefulness for a better future and better days. And we all need more of that 🫶🏼

I hope you decide to come see me at a market.
I hope you decide to be your most authentic self.
I hope you choose JOY today!
