One thing about Me Time Coffee: we LOVE providing coffee education. ☕️🤎

So please, keep asking the questions. 😂 Seriously.

Ask me where the beans come from. Ask me about freshness. Ask me what specialty-grade means. Ask me about brewing, roast levels, grind sizes, espresso, cold brew—all of it.

But sometimes at events, I can feel a lil’ side-eye behind the question. 👀😂

And one thing about ME?

I always get asked, “What’s your favorite Me Time Coffee?”

And the truth is… they all serve a purpose. 😂☕️

Monday? I need something bold.

Tuesday? I deserve a little something sweet.

Wednesday? We’re halfway there. I need the caffeine. 😩

Thursday? At this point, I’m drinking whatever matches the mood.

Friday? I’m already daydreaming about the weekend.

Different day. Different mood. Different brew.

Transparency doesn’t mean giving the internet a play-by-play of every time you lose.

I share my wins because I celebrate my wins. I don’t hide the no’s. I just don’t build a home there.

And I think we have to be careful about why we need to see someone else lose before we can feel okay about our own losses.

A “no” is part of going after what you want.

So is a “yes.”

Keep applying. Keep putting your name in rooms. Keep going after the opportunities you want.

Because the goal isn’t to never hear no.

The goal is to hear enough yeses to change your life.

And you can’t get the yes if you never apply. 🤎

Sometimes our role is simply to bring the coffee. ☕️

This morning, Me Time Coffee had the opportunity to provide coffee for Samuel P. Massie Academy’s quarterly Coffee & Conversations, hosted by the school’s mental health and counseling team for parents.

This one felt especially aligned for me.

I grew up in a family where education was a priority. My grandmother was a principal. My aunt teacher then social worker, and my sister is a teacher turned private tutor.

So when we were invited to support a morning centered around parents, conversation, mental health and connection, saying yes was easy.

We weren’t there to lead the conversation.

We weren’t there to provide the resources.

Our job was simple: make sure there was good coffee in the room while the people who do this work every day created the space for everything else.

And I love that.

As I continue growing Me Time Coffee, I’m becoming even more intentional about the spaces our coffee gets to be part of.

Sometimes it’s the woman entrepreneur having 10 quiet minutes before opening her laptop.

Sometimes it’s an office bringing its team together.

And sometimes it’s parents sitting around a table having conversations that matter.

Different rooms. Same idea.

A good cup of coffee can be part of creating a moment where people slow down, connect and stay awhile.
