Holiday Season is quickly approaching. Denson's is here to help make your Pre-Christmas Gathering No Fuss/No Muss., affordable, and efficient. Denson's will gladly prepare an impressive small bite menu/spread which we will prepare, package, and deliver to your door. All you have to do is plate it on your favorite platters. Think Cracked Crab Claws served with our Mustard Cream. Denson's Mini Crab Cakes, Crostinis, A variety of Deviled Eggs, Mini Chicken Salad, Ham Salad, Egg Salad Croissants, Country Ham Biscuits with Bacon Jam, and so much more.

Happy Fall everyone! We have returned from a wonderful Anniversary Trip, and immediately got back to work with events this past Friday and Saturday. This week has Box Lunches and two days of serving fresh made food at Ingleside's Estate Club Pickup.
Concerning our 'Dinners for One'. the Fall months are our busiest season with events and more. Plus, we have a huge project that we are about to unveil. Possibly this week. We don't want to offer a dinner one week and not the next two or 3. We need and should be more consistent. 2026 is our last year for public events, which will allow us to give more focus on 'Dinners for One', Corporate Box Lunches, and Private Catering. Please bear with us, we will be back at it soon.

We have made a couple of enhancements on today's 'Sip & Shuck' Menu. We are offering our Crab Dip with locally sourced Pretzels, we have added our 'Crab Dippers'. These are very popular because it is the favorite part of our Blue Crab, for many folks. It's the sweetest part of the crab. We do the work for you. Already Cracked, ready to dip in our House Made Mustard Cream Sauce. And the Ham Biscuits. You get two with eaorderch . We source the ham from Kite's Country Ham in Wolftown, VA (Madison County) It's handcrafted and delicious and won't 'Light you up' with salt. We do recommend that you add a 'Dollup' of our Crab Dip on top! Our Blue Crab and Country Ham just goes 'Hand in Hand'. We are also going to offer our House Made Mac & Cheese, and Cole Slaw. Doing FRESH means a little extra time and Prep. But, the end result raises the bar. Come see us for Great Food, Great B**r & W**e, and Great Live Music today at Ice House CB. We begin serving around 4ish!

Congratulations to the Colonial Beach Historical Society and Museum for a very successful Inaugural Watermans Festival. It was well organized and VERY well attended. And the educational booth provided and displayed by the Virginia Waterman's Association was so impressive. It was so special that attendees could interact with our local watermen and ladies. And most importantly, what a fabulous and well deserved tribute to the folks that work our waters everyday in all kinds of weather bringing us the best that our region has to offer. A long overdue tribute, and Denson's and team are so very proud to have been a part of this. This is a special Colonial Beach, NNK, and Regional event that will surely grow. Well Done!!!!!!

The Countdown to the Inaugural Colonial Beach Watermans Festival is on! Fresh Chesapeake Bay Seafood has been arriving and we are going to serve what our region is famous for. And.....It's going to be FRESH, and it's going to be LOCAL. Delicious SeaDuction Oysters from Gwynn's Island, Shucked Ice Cold on the Half Shell. Select Grade Oyster from Capt. Faunce Seafood of Montross, that will be fried 'till Golden. Beautiful Rockfish Fillets from our friends at Untied Shellfish in Grasonville MD (Kent Island), Crab Meat for our Crab Cakes and Crab Dippers from Capt Faunce Seafood. We recommend getting there early. Since this is the 1st Festival, we have no idea how many folks to plan for, so we ordered not low, and not high. But it will be delicious! Come see us!

We are truly looking forward to the Inaugural 'Watermens Festival' this coming Friday Afternoon/Evening. We will have some delicious Oyster from Gwynn's Island that we will be shucking. Also our delicious Fried Oysters. Crab Cakes?....Of Course. and you can expect delicious Rockfish. For those of you that support our local Watermen, but may want to enjoy something other than seafood, we prepare a pretty delicious Hot Roast Beef Sandwich. Certified Angus Beef, Sliced really thin, and dipped in our housemade Au Jus. We don't stop there. We top this deliciousness with thinly sliced Red Onion, Sweet & Savory Pickle Chips, House Made Tiger Sauce (Horseradish Cream) on a Soft Brioche. Come join us for this wonderful celebration of the men and ladies that work our waters in every kind of weather conditions, just to make sure that you can enjoy fresh finfish and shellfish.
