☘️ LUCKY CHECK-IN! ☘️

Lucky stopped by O’Keefe’s today to make sure we’re actually working… and not just drinking coffee and arguing about paint colors. 😂

Things are moving along at 1653 Gulf to Bay Blvd and every day it’s looking a little more like O’Keefe’s.

We’re getting closer, but Lucky has been sworn to secrecy on the opening date. 🤐🍀

🍀 A little O’Keefe’s update! 🍀

There’s been a lot happening behind the scenes at our new home!

We’ve been replacing floors, removing old equipment, painting, adding new lighting, and getting everything ready to feel like O’Keefe’s again. Today, the dining room tables and chairs started making their way in — and yes, we even brought over some of those classic O’Keefe’s booths everyone knows and loves!

The logo is on the door, the pieces are coming together, and every day it’s starting to feel a little more like home.

What a week. 💚

You all have absolutely shown up for us, and we can’t thank you enough. The stories, hugs, memories, laughs and excitement for what’s ahead have made this such a special week for our family and the entire O’Keefe’s crew.

**Today we close the doors to this chapter of O’Keefe’s — so let’s have some fun doing it!** 🎶☘️

As for the food… apparently everyone came hungry this week. 😂 **You cleaned us out of quite a few O’Keefe’s favorites!** So we’ll be serving a **limited menu today while supplies last.**

Come grab a bite, have a drink, listen to some music and make a few more memories with us in this building.

And remember — **this isn’t goodbye to O’Keefe’s.**

We’re just packing up the heart of this place and taking it with us down the road. 💚

The shenanigans have officially begun… 😂🍀

And we haven’t even moved yet.

One of our beloved O’Keefe’s leprechauns has apparently been kidnapped.

We have received proof of life along with a handwritten ransom note demanding $500 for his safe return.

The group responsible is calling themselves the “Good Luck at Your New Location Liberation Group.” 😂

So now we’re thinking… why not turn the ransom into something good?

We’re working on a way to raise the ransom money, with anything collected being given right back to our O’Keefe’s staff to help them during the transition between locations. ❤️🍀

So you may soon have the chance to help save a leprechaun AND support the O’Keefe’s crew.

If this is what’s happening before the move, we can only imagine what’s coming next…

☘️ **YOU’VE GOT QUESTIONS — WE’VE GOT ANSWERS!** ☘️

The response to our big news has been incredible, and we’ve loved reading all of your comments, memories and questions. So here are a few answers about what’s ahead for **O’Keefe’s Tavern!**

**📍 Where are you moving?**
Our new home will be at **1653 Gulf-to-Bay Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33755**, the former Capogna’s Dugout.

**📅 When are you opening?**
We’re working hard and **hoping for around mid-September!** We don’t want to give an exact date until we know we’re ready, but you’ll hear it here first.

**☘️ Is O’Keefe’s going to change?**
The building is changing. **The heart of O’Keefe’s isn’t.** We’re bringing the traditions, food, familiar faces and O’Keefe’s character you know and love with us — while having some fun creating our new home!

**👨‍👩‍👦 Is O’Keefe’s still family owned?**
**Absolutely!** Garth and Terri are passing O’Keefe’s Tavern to the next generation, **Travis and Jordan**, and we’re excited to carry it forward.

**🏡 Who purchased the current O’Keefe’s property?**
We can now officially share that **our longtime neighbors at BayCare purchased the property.** We’re happy to see it remain with an organization that has been part of our neighborhood and the Clearwater community for many years.

**🐶 What about outdoor dining — and our four-legged O’Keefe’s regulars?**
We hear you! **Outdoor dining is something we’re actively working on**, especially because we want a space where you can bring your dogs along. 🐾

We have a few different visions in the works and want to do it right. It may take a little more time after we open, but **an outdoor space is definitely part of the vision for our new home.**

**🍺 What about Oktoberfest?**
If everything stays on track, we’re hoping to be settled into our new home in time to **celebrate Oktoberfest together!** 🥨🍺

**☘️ And the BIG question… WHAT ABOUT ST. PATRICK’S DAY?!**

Did you really think we’d forget about that?! 💚

**St. Patrick’s Day at O’Keefe’s isn’t going anywhere.**

We’re already thinking about how to make St. Patrick’s Day special at our new home — and yes…

**There are even talks of bringing the BIG TENT back! 👀☘️**

There are still details to work out and approvals we'll need from the City, so we’re not making any promises just yet. But we can tell you that **St. Patrick’s Day will absolutely continue to be a BIG O’Keefe’s tradition.**

There are a lot of ideas in the works, and not everything will happen on Day 1. We want to get the doors open, welcome everyone home, and then keep building from there.
