After Spirit of the Bluegrass reposted a segment on Sleepy from last year, interest and inquiries have increased again. Good problems, right?

I just wanted to remind everyone with this post that Sleepy is truly a hand made small batch product and because of that stock can be limited at times. I wish I could crank out thousands and thousands of jars a day… but due to my particular grinding process and love for good quality food I’m limited to outputting only in the hundreds per week. And the stand sells out super quick on weekends.

Could I scale up? I sure could, but I won’t for now. By scaling up production and mass producing, Sleepy would no longer be small batch and would lose that delicious and unique quality that attracted you to it in the first place. Such a fine line, but trust me, for now ya want to be on the side of the line we’re currently on.

We want everyone happy though. If you want a jar… you’ll get a jar, but just be patient with me as sometimes there could be a small wait and it’s worth the wait by the way. But know that I’ll do my best to get as much peanut butter as I can out there for yall.

Thank you everyone for understanding and also thank you to everyone and all the customers who have helped get Sleepy where it is today. Forever grateful to all of you.

Hez’s insurance had a short lapse and the issuer refuses to pay out for services. What a punch to the stomach.

Any contributions would be appreciated. These funds go straight to the funeral director.

Hey everyone, yesterday during Hezzies funeral we learned his insurance policy had lapsed. Unfortunately this means the bill falls on the family any share or small donation would be amazing!
