Greater Cincinnati Trail Runners

Greater Cincinnati Trail Runners We are a group of runners who prefer running trails over pounding the pavement! There is no fee to join, just show up to run and have fun!

Join us and discover the many miles of trails the Greater Cincinnati area has to offer! We typically meet at Mt. Airy Forest (the Oval) on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 PM and/or 7:00 PM. Each loop we run is a little over 5 miles. Afterward, we will sometimes head to a local establishment for food/drink. Check this page often for posts about other group runs or events that some of us will be participating in. Hope to see you on the trail!

Race director Dave Corfman has announced the annual Stone Steps Memorial Day weekend fat ass training run. It will be Saturday, May 27, starting at The Oval in Mount Airy Forest, where the fall 50k/27k trail races begin. The run will start at 7:00 AM with a picture. Bring a little something to share with the other runners for sustenance. We love our sustenance! Then run as many loops as you care to

Some of us may be starting at 6:00 AM, which could help you get in an extra loop before your holiday weekend activities.

More information as we get closer to the fun run event. See you there!

A long time ago this page was established and categorized as a "Local Business". Over time facebook has changed how these pages behave in an effort to generate income. Because of this, visitor posts do not come up in the main feed and it has become useless as a means of communication among fellow trail runners. Sadly, activity on the page has fallen off quite a bit. If you are looking to find a group to run with, head over to "Cincinnati Trail & Ultra Running". We will continue to post information here about local events. Keep running!

I had a colleague from work reach out to me who is interested in trying out some trail running. I don't know her personally (huge department!) but she describes herself as a novice runner and is currently doing around 20-30 minutes on the roads. Does anyone know some trail runners in the area who might be looking for company for some shorter, slower distances? Would love to set her up with some folks to show her around the Cincy trail system! Thanks, all! (Nancy)
