I grew up in the fashion industry. It’s literally in my DNA. My grandfather was a master tailor who immigrated from Italy in the 60s and my parents owned several European Clothing stores for over 45 years in South Florida. I grew up going on buying trips to Italy & NYC. I worked in different areas of fashion over my 15+years in NYC from selling wholesale, owning a retail store and styling celebs and ecom photoshoots. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would marry a 4th generation cattle rancher from Texas and move to Wyoming. As you can imagine my career did not exist here. I craved that creative outlet I was used too and decided to start my own business. I started collecting vintage western clothing and taught myself how to sell on . Every week I shot looks on myself with a Bluetooth clicker and tripod out on the ranch with the cows and horses looking on. Here we are almost 8 years later and I’m still going. This year I came full circle and opened my own brick n mortar in literally the smallest town in SE Wyoming called Chugwater (pop 175) just north of Cheyenne. My tiny space is in a 1930s Standard Oil Station with so much character. It really is such a cool space to bring my Etsy shop to life! In the few months I’ve been open,@ I have met so many people traveling thru from so many different countries & states! I’m 10 years in and still feel like a tourist so I get it! It’s a cool western town to stop when on I-25. You can visit our famous Chugwater Chili Headquarters, you can grab a milkshake at the famous Chugwater Soda Fountain, listen to live music & two step next door at the Stampede Saloon and shop our USDA Premium Beef Cuts (Chugwater Beer Co) at the Tri-County Mercantile all while the Union Pacific train passes thru town. Now my daughter gets to play under the racks and dress the mannequins like I did growing up and it’s magical.
