Just reflecting on some of my favorite looks I’ve created that were inspired by the past, all without using AI. I can’t do any of this right now because of the state of my home but I really miss creating characters and bringing them to life. Here we have the 1920s through the 1990s, some with multiple iterations, many from my Halloween mini horror films series from years ago. Are they perfect? No, but it’s way better than that phony 80s bs chatgbt is spitting out. No one looked like that in the 80s. Anyway….If I can do it, so can you.

Choosing to focus on what a lovely birthday weekend I had instead of the flooding in my basement. 40 feels really good and I’m happy to be joining the club! Thank you so much to everyone for the well wishes and love. My husband planned an amazing weekend for us and we had so much fun. Best of all my new nephew was born as we were celebrating! A new birthday twin! 9/18!

As I’ve approached this milestone birthday, I’ve seen and heard so much about what I should and shouldn’t be doing or wearing or saying. Well I’m not here for that. Here’s to sparkles in my hair, on my wrinkly eyelids, and in my vintage outfits. I don’t plan on changing a thing.

The perfect late summer day to wear one of my favorite vintage sets! This was a FB marketplace find and all accessories are thrifted. In my opinion, there’s nothing happier than colorful psychedelic florals. The only polyester I love is 60s and 70s and that will never change. Life is better when you actually play dress up instead of letting chatgpt do it for you.

My summer B roll is nature Virgo in her unnatural habitat. I wrote something for those bunnies but I never showed you. Remembering there is time to enjoy and to love and to seek connection. Remembering to take inspiration from the collaborative work we see when we look. There is still so much good to do.
