We will literally never get tired of the fresh pasta from Tortello 🍝 Every single dish on this menu is fantastic and don’t forget that you can also pick up fresh pasta to cook at home! We love sitting on the patio in the summer so we can watch their amazing team at work while we enjoy their menu 🍷

Chicago’s OG hot dog stand - and the originator of the Maxwell Street Polish sausage - is moving from its original location on June 30 🌭🔥 has been serving up hot dogs, polish sausages, Italian Ice and other Chicago favorites at 1250 South Union since 1939 but at the end of the month, they’ll be moving to East Pilsen due to UIC redevelopment. So if you want to try a Chicago classic where it all started, head over before they head out 👋

Did you know that one of the best steaks in North America can be found in South Barrington? We’ve now been to a few times and every visit is deliciously worth the drive from the city 🔥🥩 It was ranked as the No. 33 Best Steak Restaurant in North America by last year thanks to the live-fire kitchen, and the rest of their menu is just as good! We’ve loved their selection of Old Fashioneds, their burger and Wedge Salad were fantastic and make SURE you save room for dessert too 👏

We’ve been big fans of since our first visit and their “E Major” cocktail remains one of our favorite Espresso Martinis in the city 😍 So when we saw that they have a Boozy Book Club every Sunday from 2-4pm, we grabbed our latest read and headed right over! It was so fun to chat with other book lovers and read while we sipped on $10 cocktail specials! They even have a bar book club (they’re currently reading Vigil by George Saunders) and you can buy “blind date books” and other staff favorites from their partners at on their apothecary bookshelves 📚 We hope this starts a bar book club trend in Chicago because this was such a fun way to spend the afternoon 😊

Fans of should add a new spot to their suburban must-try list! is now officially open in the Western burbs, with an even bigger menu than the downtown favorite 💜🐷 They still have diner favorites like an amazing Pork Shoulder and Roasted Carrots, all from legendary Chef 👏
In addition to the full service restaurant, they also have a cafe with to-go pastries, coffee, gelato and more!

We checked out this weekend and loved every minute of our meal 🍽️ The star of the show was the Skate Wing with a banana beurre blanc (sounds crazy but it was delicious) but the whole menu from the Michelin-starred was uniquely delicious! We will definitely be back to try oyster happy hour at the bar 🦪 🍔

Welcome to Lincoln Park 🥯 If you were a fan of the River North deli, you’re going to want to visit their ✨brand new✨ and much larger second location, which opened THIS WEEK on Halsted! They’re still serving up all the amazing bagels and sandwiches Chicago has come to love, plus coffee and delicious sides like latkes and Matzo Ball Soup 🩵 So happy to see this family-run spot expand, and based on the lines this morning, it’s going to be a big neighborhood favorite!

Spring is coming soon to Chicago (we swear) and your perfect sip for the warmer temps is the ✨new✨ Strawberry Shortcake Matcha at 🍓 Topped with Pistachio Cold Foam, it’s so well balanced, not to mention PRETTY and pairs perfectly with their seasonal pastries like the Malai Custard Croissant! We also loved the Banana Cream Matcha paired with their Breakfast Sandwich (the Custard Egg and Crispy Potato Tikki make this sammie stand out!)

You can now get some our favorite sushi in Chicago delivered right to your home in an epic HOME-akase Set 🍱 was one of our favorite openings of 2025, but since this West Loop hand roll bar is so intimate, it can be tough to get a reso! You don’t have to worry about that now though - They have sushi sets including a stunning HOME-akase (complete with sauces and some of their most popular nigiri) as well as à la carte dishes, all available for delivery 🍣 We always love a treat yourself meal, but one we could also enjoy from the comfort of our couch (with Harry Styles on TV 😉) is an actual dream!
