In 1992 owners Mike & Doug began following The Dave Matthews band around the country to see shows. Along the way they noticed a need for restaurants that featured quality breakfast food. After hundred
s of shows and below average breakfast food they decided to open a restaurant and change everyone’s perception of brunch. Firm believers that breakfast is the most important meal of the day they have made it their mission to create a menu featuring fresh and creative brunch dishes. The Egg Bistro often uses the freshest locally sourced products from Virginia and North Carolina when available. The crew is constantly working on new food items as well as adding fun and funky drinks to the bar menu. Featuring 6 rotating local craft beers on tap and the best bloody Marys & mimosas in Virginia.
