If they’re sleeping way more than usual, pulling away, barely eating, barely sleeping, losing interest in things they normally enjoy, or constantly saying “it is what it is,” don’t just brush it off. Sometimes “I’m fine” is somebody trying to survive something they don’t know how to explain. Depression and anxiety are REAL. You never truly know what somebody is battling internally. Check on them.
