Today’s order was very special! These were made for the Stars of the Spectrum, who will be performing in a concert in Boston in just a few weeks put on by Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism. I have been to several events put on by this foundation, including concerts, 5ks, karate classes, and the work they do is incredible. Some very close friends of mine are part of this amazing group.

One thing I have learned over the years is to listen, and not be afraid to learn. Listen to the stories, support the passions, follow their lead. And never assume.

Celebrated our very own 8 year old, about five months late! 🤣

We had the best LABUBUrthday party ever! Vanilla cake with chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, all with vanilla buttercream.

This weekend we had the privilege of being part of something really special. Festival of Giving Trees asked us to help out with prizes for their third annual Tree.1 Run for Fun - 5K. How fun!

The festival happens in early December each year. This year it will be held 12/4-12/7. It’s a fun event, and helps such a great cause. Directly from their website-

“This event aims to raise funds for the Silent Spring Institute, the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition, and The Cancer Center at Harrington Hospital to combat breast cancer, support cancer research and help local cancer patients with financial hardship.”

Having just lost one of my best friends to metatsatic breast cancer, I immediately jumped at the chance to help. It was so therapeutic to recreate their super fun mascot. It was a really fun day, and they raised a lot of money!! Celebrated with one of our favorite graduates from this year! His request was a chocolate cake with a surprise filling, so we went with a chocolate fudge cake with strawberry filling and buttercream frosting!

Happy birthday Julia!!!!
Her request was candles, 11, her name, J and a rose. Purple colors. NATURAL dyes.

Yall- I wish the lighting was better for these. Due to drying time I had to wait and take the photos on the road and not in our usual spot. The purples popped! I was nervous having never done an entire set with natural food dye before. But I was pleasantly surprised!!! So glad J trusted us with this birthday treat for her and her friends. One of our favorite dancers turned 18 yesterday!!!

Maddy- it’s been a pleasure watching you grow over the last 8ish years since we met you and joined the MDA family! Can’t believe you are 18 now! Hope you have the best year yet, there is so much in store for you. We hope you loved your disco ball cookie set! Happy 18th!!

LOVED THIS THEME!!

A family member is having a baby soon, and I unfortunately had to miss the shower- but I was able to provide these safari themed sugar cookies!!!! That green was difficult to get but I was so happy with the results. The animals kind of scared me, but I quickly fell in love with the process!

Who can see what I hid in these cookies, I’ll give you a hint. Look closely at those giraffe spots!!!

And I can’t wait to meet this little one. Miss you guys! ❤️
