Meet Caitlin!

She’s been around Mason’s for quite some time, but she’s super accustomed to food service....she helps regularly with her family’s catering gig!

In Caitlin’s free time she makes jewelry and draws.

Her favorite subject is history.

Her favorite ice cream is black cherry (we think our black cherry is the BEST EVER!!)

Caitlin’s favorite thing to make are candy palozzas! 🍬 🍭

If you haven’t tried a candy palooza, give it a whirl. It’s a top seller for a reason! Remarkably delicious....not just for the kids 🤩🍬🍭🤩

The Chef and Crew will be setup tonight at Shumakers Spook Trail. We will try our best to serve the full menu listed below. Our plans have changed drastically over the past several days and we might be running on limited power but we're giving it our best shot. Food available while it last tonight!

I know lots of folks around are still possibly without power. I'm going to do a pop up food truck event from 12 noon to 1:30 pm today or until I run out at my usual place 150 Linneys Mill Rd. I'll have hot dogs for $2 or a combo with chips and a drink for $4 and chill while it last for $3 a bowl. If you know of any linemen or etc out working I'll be happy to feed them too.

Just a reminder from our previous post. Out of respect for this wonderful family, The Chef's Caravan has cancelled our fish fry for Saturday, September 26. Please go out and support the Welborn Family and their fundraising event to be held at New Hope Community Center on Saturday 9/26.

The Chef's Caravan will be donation some cakes for the cake auction. Go out and bid on a cake and enjoy a hamburger or hot dog all while supporting a worthwhile cause.

Wow and thank you is all I can say. You guys really showed back up to support our Saturday meals. In an effort to plan things out a bit more and give you guys a bit of a heads up on future meals here's what we have planned for September.

Saturday, September 12, 2020 - Chicken and Wild Rice Casserole. I'll post sides and desserts next weekend.

Saturday, September 26, 2020 - Due to overwhelming request we plan to do a Fish Fry.

October we will be out on the road several weekends with the truck. Stay tuned for details on where we will be.

We're truly blessed and thank God for allowing each of y'all to be a part of our lives and extended family.

It's been a few weeks, so let's go back again to the meal that started this whole Saturday of food truck meals thing off. Menu for next Saturday, August 29, 2020. Lasagna with garlic bread, tossed garden salad with choice of ranch or thousand island dressing and choice of chocolate eclair cake or lemon pound cake with luscious lemon icing for dessert.

Pickup will be between 4-6 from the food truck which will be parked in the same location as in the past (150 Linneys Mill Rd Union Grove).

To ensure you get a plate please private message me or comment below with # of plates requested, choice of dessert and approximately what time you want to pick up. I'll also try to have some extra plates for pickup and will immediately post here if I sell out.

Plates will be 10 again. And as always if you are financially limited due to loss of income from the Covid 19 situation please contact me privately and we will work something out. Thanks again for all your compliments on the food and your support.
