Flew to LA to spend time with my sister before she moves out of state

She sent me a list of the best cafés in LA, I could only do so much with the LA traffic, so I made it to 5 out of 14 (plus a few bonus spots)

So much of the café culture reminded me of Japan; slow, intentional, and comforting 🥰

Felt truly blessed to also take a barista skills class while there

In between all the coffee, we ate some really good food including an early fancy birthday dinner 🥰

27 markets in our first season.

This year was about learning our machine, dialing in shots, understanding markets, and showing up even on the slower days. Every market taught us something new.

Zikr means remembrance, and this journey keeps reminding us to be grateful.

Thank you to everyone who supported our small business and made it a point to stop by and try our coffee. As we head into 2026, we’re excited to keep learning, growing, and showing up one market at a time.
