In the Glass ✨
Hello, dahlin! It’s been too long, dear - what a shame. However, I am here and would like to introduce to you my good friend, Don;
• Coming from Jalisco, Mexico, Don Julio Anejo is aged 18+ months in American ex-bourbon white oak casks.
A lot of the deeper oak, vanilla and caramel color develops at this stage.
• The aroma is citrus heavy, including lime, grapefruit and mandarin with caramel.
• The flavor can be described as cooked agave, wild honey, oak and butterscotch.
A recipe? Of course dahlin you know I wouldn’t let you down…
ANEJO HONEY OLD FASHIONED
• 2oz Don Julio Anejo
• 1/4oz rosemary honey syrup
• 2 dashes of angostura bitters
• 1 dash orange bitter
Stir together and pour over a cube. Garnish with your favorite cocktail cherries. Don’t forget about the orange peel for a little citrus!
ROSEMARY HONEY SYRUP
Oh dahling I can’t give you ALL the information! Go have a hunt and figure it out 😉
