We are looking for a creative cook proficient in all aspects of food preparation for our busy food truck. You will be “the chief” and maintain complete control of the food truck.
Responsibilities
Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities independently
Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs with the Owner
Assist the Truck Manager with staff’s activities
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Give prepared “to-go” plates the “final touch” for our guests
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards, daily as well as during the work time of the truck
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers at all times
Requirements
Proven working experience as a Head Chef
Excellent record of kitchen management
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of delegating multiple tasks
Communication and leadership skills
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate not required but gladly accepted.
All Team Members are required to wear facial mask and follow all food service rules & regulations.
