🚨 Mooresville Fire-Rescue Reunites with Man Saved by CPR 🚨

This past weekend, Mooresville Firefighters reunited with a man after they saved his life with 15 rounds of CPR. Firefighters and EMS responded to a 911 call for an unconscious man at a home on E. McLelland Avenue on February 13, 2024. When Firefighters from Engine 1 and Squad got to the home, they confirmed he didn’t have a pulse and quickly began CPR. Firefighters and EMS staff were getting ready to call time of death when one Firefighter noticed the man had a pulse! They quickly rushed him to the hospital, where he survived.

On Sunday March 17, 2024, the man and his family invited firefighters from Station 1 and Squad as well as Iredell County EMS to a cookout to thank them for saving his life. Mooresville Fire-Rescue is thankful he survived and is doing well today!
