The was a much longer, funnier, sadder and probably more inappropriate post an hour ago. Then my phone chewed it up and spit it out and laughed at me post finishing touches. Why????

But to the point, it’s getting late in the night and in our careers and we are certainly of an age that we can be excused for putting down our knives, breaking down our station, and clocking out. For it is time.
It’s as simple as that and as complicated as the industry really is, if you’ve ever worked it. But don’t think a full post mortem isn’t forthcoming. If any industry should LEGALLY be required to have an exit interview after
its owners hobble out, broken and barefoot… it is this. It’s a discussion worth having, even if it’s just with and for myself.
We will be in and out as will our lovely staff, for 3 last days of chaulkboard specials and 50% off wine and retail. Then 75% off on any retail that sadly belly’s up to the bar on the last day. yikes!
Come see us. And please do tip your server as they have endured me these many years and months and that’s pergatory enough without adequate pay.
