Met with the city of Cedar Falls yesterday and the contractor to go over the plans for the space. Also met with our coffee supplier! Checking things off the to do list!

Meet Snoopy!

The future General Manager of the cat room at The Crazy Bean Catfe.

Snoopy loves to meet new people. She loves forehead kisses and snuggles. She stays busy by cleaning up any and all surfaces possible.

She dislikes closed doors and kibble.

We have several new followers so Id like to re-introduce ourselves!

The Crazy Bean was started in 2024 as a mobile pop-up cafe by mom and daughter duo, Meli and Jess

Meli enjoyed creating coffee and was looking for a way to raise money for college.

The community was very supportive of this and we enjoyed getting to meet new people in the community while serving up fun drinks at their place of work!

The idea of having a permanent location and adding cats was just a dream. A dream that just wouldn’t go away. That’s when we decided to go for it!

Meli is currently a pre-med student at UNI. She will be starting her sophomore year this fall.

Jess is a Registered nurse working in home health while supporting her daughter to accomplish all of her goals!

We are so excited to be on this journey and sharing the process with the community. We will be partnering with some of your favorite local businesses to make this a fun place and we can’t wait to share more with you!
