We want to remind everyone that with it being hot everyone wants to be in the comfort of their own home which is understandable.
BUT that means we have lots of deliveries in lots of different directions such as Smithsburg, Fairfield, Blue Ridge, and that’s just as an example.
As you also know we offer dine in, and pick up as well, we get busy and cook everything made to order and pick up times can be up to an hour when we are busy so delivery can take over an hour, I understand it can be frustrating but we don’t always know the time.
Especially when we have a rush it can take an hour to make the food and if it takes 15/20 minutes to get to your house, it will be an hour and 15 minutes...
Obviously not all the time, and it’s not guaranteed ,but it can...
Sorry and we apologize but I don’t want anyone calling frustrated, we just want everyone to keep that in mind when they call that we have other deliveries,pick up, to go orders and dine in too.
Honestly i’m a little disappointed in the Smithsburg area as we almost always have issues and the food gets sent back when the food is made and the driver is near they’re house.
I also understand there are other places closer which is why they don’t take as long as we do.
We are about 15/20minutes away so we are not able to compete with them...
That said I understand being frustrated BUT please don’t be rude over the phone too.
The delivery service honestly it is not good, and this is why never I wanted to put the delivery back, people don't tip fight with drivers,time, customers that never pick up the phone when the driver is around at their house (no number on the mailbox),customer that never answer the door,and etc etc,all that sometimes makes to stop what we are doing call try to figure where you are located ,some one call in drunk give us a different address and what happens?
Call back ,waste time ,the driver is out and more people wait..of course yes it is always our fault..sorry if some nights comes out like that but again I don't like the delivery service...
