🌧️ Rainy days in AZ just hit different when you’ve got comfort food cooking

Tonight at our house, baked ziti is going in the oven for the family (and yes, I know it’s rigatoni but sometimes last minute sauce is a must and you have to use what’s hanging out in the pantry) — layers of pasta, hearty sauce, lots of cheese, and all the cozy feels. 🧀🍝

And it got me thinking… would y’all like to see baked ziti make an appearance on the Kayla’s Kitchen menu?

I love being able to cook the kind of food I’d make for my own family and share it with yours. So if this is something you’d order, let us know❤️

Meet Pam ❤️🇮🇹

There’s a new face in the Kayla’s Kitchen family, and she’s bringing something very special with her.

Meet Pam — my mother-in-law and our newest chef in the kitchen! 👩‍🍳❤️

Pam has joined me here at Kayla’s Kitchen, and she didn’t come empty-handed.

She brought something much more valuable than a suitcase full of kitchen equipment…

She brought our family recipes.

Recipes that have been passed down through my husband’s family from his grandparents — recipes that have been made around family tables for generations.

Now, Pam is bringing those recipes into our kitchen here in Casa Grande.

And we are SO excited to share them with you. 🇮🇹

You can expect some incredible Italian favorites making their way onto our rotating weekly menus:

We’ve been pretty quiet since March, but there’s been a LOT happening behind the scenes.

🚨 Last meal for the week, but definitely not least is Beef Stroganoff! On the menu for tomorrow, 11/14 is a warm comforting hug of slow cooked beef in a creamy mushroom sauce served over egg noodles. It’s a childhood favorite of mine!
