It's easy to be negative and a naysayer saying "Nay!" to everyone and everything in your path. And positivity is not exactly our brand, to be honest.
The set of Ebenezer Scrooge last week. This week it’s taken down and a new build is in progress for the set of our upcoming show, Dracula-the melodrama. Opens next week!
We made the "everything that happened" list.
Change was afoot this year in Dallas-Fort Worth theater, from company openings and closings to staff shake-ups and even a union kerfuffle.
The awnings up, it’s beeyootiful!!

Remember these booth frames? Bringing them out after 10 months of hibernation and getting cleaned up. We are going to need about 4 new booths built if anyone know a great carpenter or someone that does that? Pretty easy build. Note the lit step levels, nice! Can't wait for the pictures to go up!

Last night. Kewl.
As we navigate through the journey of moving and building in the 21st Century, we've run into our share of delays and drama. Our dream of reopening at our new location has been put off numerous times...and we're bummed to share the news that we will once again have to postpone our most recent opening which included one of our famous popcorn-tossing melodramas, Dracula. Instead, we will kick-off with a PST tradition and holiday must-have, our 40th year of Ebenezer Scrooge, at our brand-new venue in Carrollton. Dracula will be back soon and bringing in 2023 so, we don't suck too bad (...see what we did there?!)
Refurbishing old buildings is tougher than building new. Be assured that our construction folks are working like crazy to get everything in and pass inspections. Our staff is implementing new processes that will streamline ticketing, reservations and kitchen stuff, and you'll even see some new items added to our menu. We'll be bringing old favorites back to our stage, and we'll be featuring new acts to keep things fresh.
All of this to continue our long tradition of theatrical entertainment and to enhance your experience as a patron.
We appreciate your loyalty, patience, and enthusiasm as we embark on the next phase of our history, and we can't wait to have you with us to experience the smell of the greasepaint, the sound of laughter, and the wonderful camaraderie that comes when people gather together to be entertained!
