50 years ago, in a little deli in Baldwin, NY, a love story began…

My mom started working at the very first Ben’s location in 1976 — and, as fate would have it, that’s where she met my dad. 🥹

50 years, countless sandwiches, family memories, and so many customers later… the story continues.

Let’s clear some things up about our soups. Traditional Chicken Noodle Soup VS. Grandma’s Soup.

Traditional Chicken Noodle Soup in Kosher Delis has always been chicken broth that has been cooked with whole chickens and a variety of veggies then strained (super kid friendly 😉). Our Grandma soup uses that same broth but then we add pieces of rotisserie chicken and veggies. And, of course, you can always add a matzo ball or kreplach to any soup!! Hope this helps!

Handmade daily in every single location…we have one employee in each of our five restaurant locations whose sole job is to make our famous, delicious, fresh Cole slaw. Also, mayo haters- we make our Cole slaw without mayo too!!

MANHATTAN & SCARSDALE RESIDENTS
Thank you for choosing us for your Rosh Hashanah celebration. We are excited to deliver your order to Manhattan or Scarsdale. Please note that for both locations, we require a minimum order of $250. The delivery fee for Manhattan is $50, and for Scarsdale it is $35. We will deliver your order between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm, but we will also call you the day before to confirm a more specific time slot based on our route. If you have any questions or preferences, please let us know.
