Menopause Madams '07

We formed our 8 member club in 2007 with an overnight trip to Orlando, Florida. It soon became apparent we had more in common then just work and cabin "rut" fever. Grown children, grandchildren, memory loss and Hot Flashes, just to name a few. Our ages range from our eldest being 84 to the youngest of 57. Our lives are so different yet so connected. Our name came about as a joke when we sent flowers to a sick friend, soon it became our "calling card" to restaurant reservations, party RSVPs and to our husbands and families. Not all of us work together anymore, although we ALL work, so to stay close we have formed monthly dinner meetings, celebrate each others birthdays and about every 3 months we plan an outing of some kind, local theaters, concerts or just an evening at one our the homes just to connect. Plus, our Annual 3 day 2 night Women Only get a way every March. Some outings we do include the husbands so they too, have a sense of belonging.
