REMINDER: Bellawood Farm is launching Oak & Embers on Monday, June 15th. Each Mon & Tue we will open for just wood-fired pizza and a few new shareables, and our full bar will be open.

Bellawood Farm is launching something new. Starting Monday, June 15, we will launch Oak & Embers. Monday and Tuesday nights, from 4pm until 9pm, we will offer a limited menu focusing on wood-fired pizzas and a few other hand-crafted items, along with a full bar.

If you're looking for an early week date night, or just want great wood-fired pizza, then come in and check us out during these two wood-fired nights!

*Online ordering for pizzas will also be available!

Despite our best attempts to serve customers today, the power company is closing Oregon Rd in order to repair the downed power lines. We will not be able to serve customers until the road is open. We will keep you up to date!

Today we are reminded of our Marine Corps heritage. Bellawood Farm is named after one of the most famous battles in Marine Corps history, the Battle of Belleau Wood. Read below to learn the story of this famous battle. Semper Fi

“Retreat? Hell, We Just Got Here!”

Today, we remember the legacy of Marines who fought at the Battle of Belleau Wood during World War I, helping to cement the Corps' reputation as the world's premier fighting force.

During the intense battle, the 4th Marine Brigade, comprised of the 5th and 6th Marine Regiments, and the 6th Machine Gun Battalion, fought aggressively through the wheat fields and woodlands in France, helping to stop a major German advance toward Paris in 1918. The Battle of Belleau Wood became a major turning point for the Corps, providing Marines with experience in large scale operations.

Legend has it that Marines were later called Teufel Hunden ("Devil Dogs" in German) due to the relentless tenacity while taking enemy positions during the battle. Because of the Marines’ unwavering commitment, the 5th and 6th Marine Regiments were awarded the French Croix de Guerre, an award presented to individuals or units for acts of valor and bravery on the battlefield.
