The Bristol Cafe and Catering of Statesville, NC was an incredible experience. From meeting one of the amazing owners who consistently checked on us, to enjoying some of the most delicious homemade meals. Everyone at our table absolutely loved it! So glad we got to experience this place for the first time! Enjoy the view of our plates!

Aside from mashed sweet potatoes with black beans, and sautéed broccoli, tonight we had chicken frillers wrapped in hickory smoked bacon, crisped in the air fryer!

A late oven baked dinner tonight, but a filling one! We've got lemon pepper and garlic salmon, salt and pepper broccoli, and sweet potato with cinnamon sugar and drizzled honey!

The dawgs know what's up with these savory beef zucchini boats!

Hollow them out but leave edges for the "boat" or the meat will spill out while baking

Precook your scrambled beef or turkey in your preferred seasoning. Remember to sautee those onions and garlic first. Scoop that into your boats and top with your fav cheese. Bake between 425-475 degrees and broil on low for a couple minutes at the end!

Spring mix lettuce
Sliced deli ham and turkey
Garlic croutons
Parmesan cheese
Cherry tomatoes
Diced cucumbers
And drizzled Italian dressing (Olive Garden!)

3 random items available that don't usually go together... zucchini zoodles, full thigh chicken legs and homemade alfredo sauce (with way too much parmesan called for by the recipe)

All of them tasty, but not the ideal combination. This one is not getting saved to the books but it was filling at least!

What's your choice for breakfast in bed? We chose scrambled duck egg with various German sausages, avocado toast, cream cheese toast with everything seasoning, surrounding by a crown of strawberry slices. 😋
