At RJ’s Ice Cream, we usually share smiles, sweet treats, and happy memories — but today we’re using our platform for something far more important.

We want to introduce you to Levi, my little brother, whose life was forever changed by abuse and the failures of the systems meant to protect him.

Levi was only 18 years old. He should still be here celebrating birthdays, making memories, and building a future. Instead, his life was shaped by trauma after being sexually abused by a former teacher and county official — someone who was trusted to protect children, not harm them.

Despite the pain he carried, Levi found the courage to come forward. But like so many survivors, the emotional damage and lack of accountability left scars deeper than most people could see. His story is one of heartbreak, but also of bravery.

This petition was created to demand awareness, accountability, and real change so that no other child or family is failed the way Levi was.

You do not have to personally know Levi to stand for what is right.

If you believe children deserve protection, survivors deserve to be heard, and communities deserve accountability, please take a moment to sign and share this petition.

Benton County, we’re so excited to be part of Prevention Jam 2026 tomorrow at Camden Central High School! 💙🍦

Come out May 9 at 4 PM for an evening focused on Prevention, Recovery & Education with live music, dancing, a petting zoo, family fun, and MORE!

And don’t forget — RJ’s Ice Cream will be there serving up your favorite sweet treats all evening long!

We’ll also be helping take donations to support rebuilding the 641 Dance Barn after the devastating damage caused by Winter Storm Fern. Every little bit helps this amazing community space get back on its feet. 💜

This event is completely FREE, so grab the family and come enjoy a great night supporting our community and Benton County youth!
