'The One You'd Never Eat' was particularly divisive... y'all had a lot of opinions on that one! Pickled Herring beat out Gefilte Fish by just one vote!

After four generations in business (since 1919!), local institution S&S Deli will close its doors. It’s classic Jewish establishments like this one that inspire Mamaleh’s ethos - a business built on community and preserving Jewish food traditions!

S&S is short for ‘es and es,’ a Yiddish expression for ‘eat and eat!’ We are grateful to the S&S family for paving the way for businesses like ours. We’ll be stopping in before their last day on June 7th, and we hope you will too!
