LIVING EARTH DAY — We believe historic preservation is the ultimate form of recycling and the greenest buildings are the ones that are already built. We began the journey of renovating this 1880s building in the fall 2018 to open Farmers-To-Market Coffee Company. The bar was built of recycled lumber from the Under The Chandelier at the Drennan & Randolph Building. A wall was opened and framed to expose the historic brick …a glimpse of the past and soon to be a window view of our coffee roasting facility inside Drennan & Randolph warehouse. The back bar… spanning 22 feet came from the Waco furniture company that was featured on the Fixer Upper.

Remember coffee grounds are an excellent "green" (nitrogen-rich) material for composting, providing essential nutrients, improving soil structure, and accelerating decomposition. ASK Michaela or Nick for coffee grounds for your garden.

We love being a part of Calvert’s Historic Main Street history.
