I walked away from a steady corporate paycheck to build something of my own.

Now I work 7 days a week, there are no paid vacations, no guaranteed income, and no one telling me what to do.
Some days it’s exhausting. Some days it’s uncertain.

But every hour I put in is building my future, not someone else’s.

A brief moment of warmth. A familiar taste. A few quiet minutes with the men beside them.

Then they stepped forward into uncertainty, courage, and sacrifice on the beaches of Normandy.

Today, we remember the Americans and Allied forces who landed on D-Day and honor those who never came home.
