A little coffee myth we’d love to clear up: espresso is a brew method, not a roast method. ☕️

There’s no special “espresso bean” or “espresso roast.” Any coffee can be brewed as espresso.

And because great coffee is subjective, what makes a coffee good for espresso depends on the person drinking it. One person might love a bright, light-roasted espresso, while someone else prefers something rich and chocolatey.

That’s why you won’t find “espresso” labeled as a roast on our bags. We’d rather tell you what the coffee actually is and let you decide how you want to brew it.

We encourage you to try different origins, varieties, and processing methods as espresso. You might be surprised by what you like.
