It is with heavy hearts that we share that The Shoppe at Nantahala Village has officially closed its doors.
This decision came much more suddenly than we ever imagined, and we are truly heartbroken that we weren't able to finish out the season and say goodbye the way we had hoped.
From the very beginning, The Shoppe was built on community, creativity, and a love for supporting local artists. To every artist and vendor who trusted us with your beautiful handmade creations—thank you. Your talent, passion, and belief in our little shop meant more than words can express.
To our amazing customers and this incredible community, thank you for supporting us throughout the years. Every purchase, every conversation, every smile, and every visit helped make The Shoppe so much more than just a store. You became part of our family.
A very special thank you goes out to everyone who showed up last night to help us pack up on such short notice. Your kindness, generosity, and willingness to lend a hand during such an emotional time will never be forgotten. And to all of our loyal customers who stopped by to help clear out the snacks and ice cream—you turned a difficult day into one filled with laughter, hugs, and a reminder of just how special this community truly is.
This journey has given us countless unforgettable memories, lifelong friendships, valuable lessons, and so many reasons to be grateful.
While this chapter has come to an end, Sara and her family are far from finished. We have something new in the works, and when the time is right, we can't wait to share what's next with all of you.
Until then, we hope you'll continue supporting the incredibly talented local artists who made The Shoppe so special, and keep an eye out for Sara at upcoming glass art shows.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your lives. We are endlessly grateful for every one of you.
This isn't goodbye...
It's simply "see you again."
❤️ With love and gratitude,
Sara & Family
