We are incredibly honored to share that The Flying Pig has been voted Best Coffee by Vegan Best of Indy!

As a young entrepreneur and small business owner, receiving this award is truly humbling and exciting. What makes it even more meaningful is knowing that it was voted on by the people and community members who have chosen to support our little coffee trailer.

If you’ve ever wondered about the name The Flying Pig, it was inspired by the pigs of Oinking Acres Farm Rescue & Sanctuary, and my life growing up on our family farm. It is a direct reflection of my family legacy and I strive to honor that daily.

In the photo with me is Elwyn, one of those very special pigs from Oinking Acres. My sister has dedicated her whole life to animals like him. She’s his momma, and knew how to keep him content, just like if he was a human child. He is impossible not to fall in love with. 🐷🥹

Animals like baby Elwyn inspire me every day to think bigger than what the “norm” is. My sister and mom (owners of Oinking Acres) are a big reason why creating an inclusive coffee experience has always been so important. We proudly offer a variety of dairy-free options, including oat milk, almond milk, other substitutions, along with delicious syrups and creative drink recipes so everyone can find something they love.

Thank you to everyone who voted for us, visited our trailer, engaged online, and supported my dream. You can visit us tomorrow from 9a-1p at The Oaks at Brownsburg and visit the animal of Oinking Acres every Saturday and Sunday from 11a-2:30p. 💖💖
