This past Saturday, our fundraising event at PJs Coffee in Brookhaven proved to be incredibly successful. Initially, the event was meant to benefit Open Doors Theatre from Summit, but in light of the devastating events in Tylertown and surrounding areas, the decision was made to redirect all proceeds to support the relief efforts in Walthall County. The funds will be donated through Rescue LLC, a faith-based organization committed to providing assistance to those in need to restore their properties.
I would like to extend my sincerest appreciation to everyone who contributed by purchasing plates, making donations, and volunteering. As our community's love and support continue to grow, we will be able to provide assistance to our neighbors in need for years to come.

We have just over 12 hours left to order for the fundraiser for the tornado victims in Tylertown/Progress.
I cant even begin to thank PJ's Coffee of Brookhaven for offering us their parking lot to use for so many of our fundraisers and Open Doors Theatre for so graciously offering to forego the donations to allow there to be more money available for the people who lost everything in the recent tornadoes. Y’all be sure to help us show our support for these folks by ordering your steak dinners for this Saturday night

In light of the storms that’s devestated the Tylertown area on Saturday, Open Doors Theatre has reached out to me and made a very generous offer. They asked that instead of donating to their program, we team up and donate proceeds from this event to help those who lost everything. I’m very proud and thankful to say I’m a part of a community that is so gracious and willing to help others when they see the opportunity arise.

UPDATE: In conversation with Zach and Red Star Grill, we have decided that all funds from the upcoming steak plate fundraiser will go to those affected by last Saturday’s tornadoes. We will be aiding relief efforts in Tylertown and Progress. All other information remains the same, so no orders will be affected. Order a plate today to help victims of the tornadoes!

In lieu of the recent storms, Open Doors Theatre has asked to us to team up and donate the money from this Saturdays fundraiser to the storm victims.

‼️IT IS TIMEEEEE‼️

I’ve recently gotten the opportunity to see one of the plays they put on and meet some of the actors and I can just say these are some of the sweetest people. It was so fun getting to see them act out The Wizard of Oz. I’m excited to say that this year we plan to help them with funding for their new production (TBA April 2025)
