Went to Rivals in Middleburg Heights, OH. for a Birthday dinner. The food we got was great. However the birthday girl’s food didnt come until the other 5 people in our party were almost done. Apparently someone dropped hers and it had to be remade. We ordered 2 of the bucket drinks, blueberry/lemonade/vodka and a blackberry/ice tea/lemonade/ blue curaçao /vodka, something like that. Neither drink tasted like they had any alcohol in them so don’t waste your money. Waitress was good and had good customer service and the place was clean although service over all was on the slow side. That was odd becausee they seem to have plenty of staff and it was before sinner so they were not busy.
Appetizers were good, Santa Fe rolls, spinach & artichoke dip with fried pitas, fried mozzarella sticks were all really good. Some of us ordered burgers and those were all really good. However, the asian stir fry wasn’t great so I wouldn’t order that again. The birthday girl ordered perogi flat bread and rasberry bbq wings. Everyone else had there food and were half done when she hot her wings and her perogi flat bread was the food that was dropped and had to be made all over again so that came much later, and it wasn’t very good. The waitress did take them off the bill, even though we did not ask her to. The total bill with tip was still $175.00. Over all the appetizers , burgers and beers were 9 out of 10 but the other food was a bust so the total score with everything combined they get a 5 out of 10.
