I figured it might be time to reintroduce myself! If you’re new here hi, hello, ✨I’m Lizette! ✨ Welcome to the little corner of the internet where I’m literally just a girl making your sweet treats.
I’m the face (and occasionally the flour-covered hands) behind Hearth & Honey Bakery!

A little about me:

- I started baking because I genuinely love making pretty, delicious things for people. Somewhere along the way, that turned into a whole little home bakery and I’m still not entirely sure how that happened.

- By day (well technically by night) I’m an ER nurse. So when I’m not running around a hospital at 3 AM, I’m probably at home covered in flour, arguing with my mixer, testing a new recipe, making way too many cinnamon rolls, and avoiding folding laundry.

- I’m a perfectionist, which is both wonderful for your desserts and occasionally terrible for my blood pressure.

- I have strong opinions about buttercream.

- I’m not a giant bakery with a staff of 47 people. It’s me. My kitchen. My mixer. A questionable amount of dishes. And my zero dollar an hour employee (husband).

Most importantly, I care A LOT about what leaves my kitchen.
Every cookie, loaf, cinnamon roll, cake, and little sweet treat you order is something I made with my own two hands. I want it to taste amazing, look beautiful, and feel like something special when you open the box.

So if you’re new around here, hi. I’m so glad you’re here!!

This Sourdough Caramel Apple and Cinnamon loaf was absolutely delicious! 🤤

Note to self, don’t try to raise the loaf with a foil ring 🤦🏽‍♀️ still so proud of how well it did though. And it took nothing away from the flavor!

Can’t wait to offer this flavor in a mini flight version for Fall on the Farm next month!! See you all there!
