Evocative of an Espresso Romano, served traditionally with a lemon peel and a sugar cube, the dirty lemonade does not require you to choose between refreshing and caffeinated this holiday weekend. This art show will run July 3 - Aug 21, and Julia will be in the cafe from 4-6pm on July 3 for an artist meet-and-greet! We encourage you to come take a gander!

Dearly Beloved,

We’re gathered here to say our goodbyes to the penny - our stalwart of irrelevant currency. As of Monday, June 15th, we will no longer be distributing pennies as change - all transactions will be rounded to the nearest 5 cents.

We held out as long as we could, for what reason, we’re not sure. It seemed fair. It seemed just. But our bank has put their foot down. We will miss good ol' Abe. Throwing him in fountains. Rolling him down hills. Tossing him in the air to avoid accountability for the decisions we made. Using him to tighten our shoes. Good times.

He is survived by literally any other form of legal tender, though, so let us who live take solace in each other. Rest in pence, old friend.

🌞 Summer Drink Specials Have Arrived! 🌞

🍋 Fresh Squeezed Lemonade is back! Enjoy it on it’s own, or with a flavor shot, matcha, or dare we suggest a shot of espresso? We do. We do dare.

🌺 Kiss of the Lotus is a throwback to 2008 - Hibiscus and Lemon are the top notes, Yerba Mate and Turbinado simple give some depth.

Both Iced. Both Refreshing. Let us know what you think!

Summer drink specials are being finalized in the test kitchen! This one is a throwback to 2008 - one of Jackie's all-time favorites. Can anyone guess what it is?

If there's anything we love at Mocha Joe's it is seeing our awesome baristas go on to do awesome things that add pizzaz to the Brattleboro community. Tomorrow, May 26 will be Tabitha's last day behind the bar. Come visit her from 1 - 6pm today or tomorrow and wish her a fond farewell!

AND THEN go to the Ho**er Dunham Building between 12-5pm on Saturday or Sunday to give her new project - The Museum of Things Tiny and Found - a warm welcome! Tabitha will be spending her time there making Brattleboro a more whimsical place.

Wow wow wow! Stop in to see "Wings and Dreams" - a show from one of our own baristas, Jodi Meehan! Inspired by the stuff of dreams, this is a collection of artwork that spans Jodi's life from age 18 to the present.
