Veronica and Michael recently brought to our attention how deficient we were in our toppers for ice cream. After conferring with them, and some of our local youth camps (shout out to FFA Camp Muskingum, Camp Aldersgate and Falcon Camp for your feedback), we're now offering sundaes with crushed Oreo, Chips Ahoy, Graham Crackers, MnMs and sprinkles. Oh, and whipped cream, caramel and chocolate syrup.

The upside of a spring flood is that the receding waters can strand a catfish on the shoreline as a snack for this big fella. A huge THANK YOU to our very talented staff photographer Sheila Dietz for capturing this Leesville Lake moment from the South Fork Marina. You should have seen the turkey vultures scatter when this magnificent bald eagle showed up😁

Help us keep Leesville Lake clean and beautiful! Join in our cleanup efforts on Saturday, August 23rd beginning at 7 AM at Leesville Lake North Fork Marina. To say thank you for keeping their parks in pristine condition, the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District (MWCD) will also be donating eight gift certificates, good for one free night of camping at any of the MWCD-run campgrounds!

We will meet at the North Fork Marina at 7 AM to pass out trash bags and discuss our plan of attack. Cleanup will conclude at 10 AM and we will meet back at the North Fork Marina dumpster with our collected trash. The free camping gift cards will be raffled off after the cleanup to those who picked up litter.

Let's keep our muskie waters thriving and beautiful! We look forward to seeing you there!
