If you’ve been to Yeanie’s recently, you’ve probably noticed… this place has seen a lot of love.

Every scratch, every worn spot, every mark you’re seeing has a story behind it. Thousands of burgers served, countless memories made, and an amazing community that’s kept us busy every single day.

When we first opened, we built this restaurant on a limited budget, knowing one day we’d come back and finish the vision.

That time has finally come.

In just two days, on August 3rd, we’ll be closing for one week to complete the first phase of renovations. From August 3rd through the 10th, we’ll be refreshing the dining room and bringing this space one step closer to what we always dreamed it could be.

So if you’ve been thinking about stopping by, these next two days are your last chance before we temporarily close.

Thank you for making Yeanie’s what it is today. We can’t wait to welcome you back on August 11th and show you what’s next.

We’re getting closer to opening Yeanie’s West Roxbury, so we’re reallocating our team and tightening operations for the next location.

Yeanie’s Dot Is Getting a Facelift

When we first opened Yeanie’s Dot, we were working with a limited budget. We built the space around a vision we deeply believed in; one that reflected the kind of community gathering place we wanted to create- but we also had to be realistic about what we could afford at the time.

Over the past year, we poured countless hours into building this business, often sacrificing our own time and resources so we could focus on serving great food, supporting our team, and giving back to the community that has supported us from day one.

As with any well-loved space, time leaves its mark. After more than a year of welcoming guests through our doors, Yeanie’s Dot is beginning to show signs of wear. That’s why we’re excited to share that we are actively working with contractors and planning renovations that will bring our original vision to life.

Below, you’ll see photos from before we took over the space, what it looks like today, and renderings of what we hope it will become after construction is complete. While a construction start date has not yet been finalized, we’re looking forward to sharing updates as plans move forward.

We are incredibly excited about this next chapter, and we hope you’ll be just as excited as we are. Thank you for your continued support and for helping make this dream possible.
We’ve seen many moments here already- first dates, first time a newborn has left the house, daddy daughter dates, mommy and kiddos, and so much more.
Together, we’re creating more than a restaurant, we’re building a third place for our community to gather, share great food, and enjoy the company of great people.

Summer Is Here!

As we head into summer, we want to thank everyone who continues to support Yeanie’s. From our regular guests to first-time visitors, your support allows us to keep growing, creating jobs, and investing back into the community.
We’ve had an exciting month, and we wanted to share a few updates.

Dot Day Parade Success
Thank you, Dorchester!
This year’s Dot Day Parade Fundraiser was a huge success for our team. We sold 245 burgers, totaling $3,570 in sales, and had the opportunity to meet hundreds of community members throughout the month, 10% of the sales will be going to the community event!

Events like these remind us why we chose Dorchester as the home of Yeanie’s. We are proud to be part of such a vibrant and supportive neighborhood.

Breakfast Update

After the of testing breakfast service, we’ve decided to shift our focus toward what has shown the strongest demand: catering.

Moving forward, breakfast service will be offered on weekends only for in-store, and any time if catered, as we dedicate more resources toward our growing breakfast catering program.

For businesses, schools, offices, meetings, and events, our Soufflé Egg Sandwiches options are now available through our catering menu and have quickly become a customer favorite. If you’re planning a meeting or event and need breakfast, we’d love to help. DM us!

Quick West Roxbury update.

A lot of people have been asking about the delays, so we wanted to be transparent with everyone.

Most of the delays are related to permitting and approvals. We also want to make it clear that this is not the fault of any department or individual — everyone we’ve worked with has genuinely been trying to help us. The reality is just that Boston’s permitting system can be a little outdated, and the process sometimes takes longer than expected.

Instead of slowing down while we wait, we’re using this time to improve operations and expand what’s already working.

Breakfast demand has honestly been much bigger than we expected, so we’re officially extending breakfast operations, and soufflé sandwiches will now be available every day.

We’re also extending our hours later into the evening. With the sun staying out longer and the city getting more active at night, we want to be available for people who want to enjoy the weather and grab food later.

Another big reason for the expansion is our team. We hired a lot of staff in preparation for West Roxbury opening, and with the delays, we want to create more hours and retain as many great people as possible while we continue preparing for launch.

West Roxbury is still coming, and we appreciate everyone being patient with us while we make sure everything is done the right way.

In the meantime, breakfast is getting bigger, hours are getting longer, and we’re just getting started. 🍳🍔☕️
