This is my testimony from my mission trip to Honduras and what it truly means to be a sponsor. Sponsoring a child is not just a donation; it is stepping into a child’s story and becoming part of their hope, their future, and their everyday life. Having the opportunity to meet the child I sponsor changed my life in ways I never expected. I was not even supposed to be on this trip, but God opened the door at the very last moment, and I know now that He placed me there for a reason.

Because of that experience, I have set a personal goal to help at least 50 more children find sponsors before I return to Honduras in August. Each sponsorship has the power to transform a child’s life and sometimes even the sponsor’s.
