The Butterfly Road

The Butterfly Road One of a kind jewelry made from real butterfly wings. We collect the butterflies after they have died. Never captured, purchased or raised.

Utilizing stained glass techniques, I encase each wing in glass then join them with silver solder. The glass is approximately 1 mm thick and I hand cut each piece. You can watch a short video of how I make them at www.youtube.com/butterflyjewelry. The necklaces and earrings are durable, lightweight and reversible. Using over 30 different kinds of butterflies, I create a variety of styles to appeal to a wide range of tastes - from exquisite and chic to fanciful and funky.
