๐ฌ FRESH INDIAN SWEETS, MADE DAILY AT OUR BLOOMINGTON FOOD TRUCK ๐ฌ
Sweet moments, made fresh. Our full dessert counter is now available in the truck every single day.
These are not shelf sweets sitting in a box. Everything is made in small batches the traditional way, with real ghee and no shortcuts, exactly how South Indian families make them for Diwali, weddings, birthdays, and ordinary Sunday afternoons.
THE SWEETS. Every box is 4 pieces for $5.99.
๐ก LADDU
Ghee roasted gram flour rolled into soft golden spheres. The most recognized sweet in India and the one served at practically every celebration and temple. If you have never tried Indian sweets before, this is the friendliest introduction.
๐ค MYSORE PAK
A South Indian classic that traces back to the royal kitchens of Mysore. Gram flour, sugar, and generous ghee slow cooked until it turns soft, porous, and melting. Very few sweets are simpler in ingredients and harder to actually execute well.
๐ฉ BADUSHA
Also known as balushahi. Flaky layered dough deep fried until golden, then soaked in cardamom scented sugar syrup. Crisp on the outside, soft and syrupy at the center.
๐ JALEBI
Spiral coils fried crisp and immediately soaked in warm syrup. Bright, sticky, and best eaten fresh.
THE SAVORY SIDE. $5.99 each.
Two items on this menu are deliberately not sweet, because a proper Indian snack plate needs contrast:
๐ถ๏ธ KARA BOONDI
Crunchy pearls of spiced chickpea flour tossed with curry leaves, peanuts, and chilli. Salty and savory. The classic companion to hot tea.
๐ KARALU
Crisp savory sticks with a gentle building heat. Easy to eat by the handful, difficult to put down.

For our Minnesota neighbors: Indian sweets work differently from most Western desserts. They are built on ghee, cardamom, and roasted flour rather than cream and frosting, so they are rich but less cloying than they look. Laddu and Mysore Pak are the easiest starting point. Ask us and we will guide you.
For our Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Desi families in the Twin Cities: you already know how hard it is to find properly made fresh Mysore Pak here. We made this for you. ๐ฎ๐ณโค๏ธ
