In the last 2 days, I’ve had 3 different clients message me and say, “I wish I had a piece of your cake right now!” 🩷

And honestly? That makes me feel so good about the work I do and the products I’m putting out there for y’all. It truly means the world to know that my cakes are remembered long after the last slice is gone.

So it got me thinking…

What if Sugar Magnolia Cakery started offering cake slices? 🍰

I’m thinking I could feature a different flavor each week and have slices available for weekend pickup. Perfect for when you’re craving cake but don’t need a whole one!

A Note from Sugar Magnolia Cakery

First, I want to sincerely thank our amazing community for the support you’ve shown Sugar Magnolia Cakery over the years. Giving back has always been important to me, and I have been honored to participate in and contribute to many wonderful causes, fundraisers, and community events.

This year alone, I have been honored to participate in several community initiatives, including serving as the wedding cake provider for the Mississippi Gulf Coast Dream Wedding Giveaway, as well as supporting other charitable events and organizations that make a positive impact in our community.

I am also honored that Sugar Magnolia Cakery will be partnering with the local trans program for their gala at the end of this month. I look forward to supporting this important event and helping make it a success.

As a small business owner, I have learned that balancing community involvement with the ongoing needs of my business is essential. After careful consideration, I have made the decision to pause any additional donation requests and sponsorships for the remainder of 2026 following this month’s commitments.

This decision allows me to focus on serving my clients, growing Sugar Magnolia Cakery, and ensuring that I can continue creating the custom cakes and desserts I love for years to come.

Thank you for your understanding, your support, and for allowing me to be a small part of so many special moments. I am grateful for each and every one of you.

Some love vanilla.

Some can’t resist buttercream.

Some prefer fondant.

Some dream of elegant wedding cakes.

Some get excited about whimsical birthday cakes.

Some order gluten-free, vegan, or classic recipes.

And some of us simply love them all. 🎂✨

At Sugar Magnolia Cakery, we don’t judge people by the kind of cake they choose.

So we shouldn’t judge people by who they love either.

Love is love. ❤️

And in our kitchen, everyone has a seat at the table.

A custom groom’s cake designed to replicate a treasured fish illustration of a triple tail the groom caught years ago, right down to the fishing line and cork. Creating edible memories like these is one of my favorite parts of what I do. 🎣✨

Today was the beautiful MS Gulf Coast Dream Wedding Giveaway wedding, and I was so honored to create the wedding cake and groom’s table for the sweetest couple! 🤍✨

Seeing everything come together for such a special day was truly incredible, and I’m beyond grateful to have been a small part of making their dream wedding a reality. Congratulations to the lucky newlyweds — wishing you both a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and happiness! 💍🥂
