Y’all ever notice it ain’t even raining normal anymore? 🌧️

Nah. The sky been acting like a drunk ex with access to emotions and unlimited water pressure. Every damn day another thunderstorm pulls up uninvited throwing buckets across the Gulf Coast like it’s trying to erase us from existence.

Backyards looking like Alligator Airbnbs. The roaches outside evolving into amphibians. Birds flying around pi**ed off because even THEY tired of being wet. Meanwhile somebody grandpa still outside in sandals staring at flood water like he personally gonna stop it with experience.

And the smell outside? Whew. Wet pine straw, swamp ass, mildew, and broken optimism. You can literally FEEL the moisture crawling on you like a haunted washcloth.

At this point we don’t need umbrellas. We need pontoons, crawfish bait, and emotional support dehumidifiers.

More rain today. More rain all week. Gulf Coast summer entering its “feral aquarium” phase. 🐊

The Destruction of Hazardous Imports Act (H.R. 2715) advanced out of the House Energy & Commerce Committee with strong bipartisan support and now heads toward consideration by the full House. The bill would give FDA authority to order the destruction of imports that pose significant public health risks — helping stop "port shopping," a loophole that can allow refused products another chance to enter the U.S. market.

Thank you to Congressman Troy A. Carter (D-LA) and Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) for leading this effort and to the 14 bipartisan cosponsors supporting stronger protections for consumers and American seafood producers. 🦐

🌧️🇺🇸 MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND DONE TURNED INTO A NATIONWIDE WET T SHIRT COMPETITION NOBODY SIGNED UP FOR 🇺🇸🌧️

The Gulf Coast currently built like a clogged motel shower drain behind a casino.Every parking lot got that “step here and ruin your entire damn afternoon” puddle waiting on victims.

People spent $87 on burger meat just to be outside grillin under a carport lookin like sad rotisserie inmates while thunder claps every 12 minutes like God beating flip flops together.

South Mississippi so soaked right now the mosquitoes evolved gills.Louisiana smellin like wet dog, Marlboro Lights, and bad parole decisions. Alabama roads got more water on em than a busted damn aquarium at PetSmart.

And here come Earl barefoot in the rain holdin tongs talkin bout it ain’t gunna last long 45 minutes ago……

Sir your backyard got waves.Your lawn chairs currently crossing county lines.Your charcoal floating toward Mobile like a Viking funeral. ⚰️🔥

This ain’t “a little Memorial Day rain.”This is the atmosphere rawdoggin the entire Southeast with humidity and violence. The air so thick outside you gotta chew before breathing. 😭

Some of y’all still trying to force a cookout anyway. Hamburger buns wetter than a divorced uncle’s Facebook posts after midnight. Potato salad sweatin harder than a church sinner during altar call.

And bless the brave souls driving through flooded roads with bald tires and pure financial instability holding the vehicle together. Y’all out there hydroplaning on hope and a prayer. 💀

Stay safe today because some of these storms got the emotional stability of a gas station crackhead arguing with a lottery machine.
