There's something about this credit card receipt that rubs me the wrong way. While I'm all about live musicians receiving tips, who is paying the taxes on that tip? I find it hard to believe that a restaurant would go to the trouble of sending 1099's to band members and I worry that the server is paying the taxes. Just to be sure, if you encounter this when you're out to eat, tip the band with cash money like a regular human being.
