Cinco de Mayo weekend is about to start and you should celebrate with us! We’ve put together a few things to make this weekend special and intentional to celebrate Mexico’s victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla in 1862.

Here is what we have going on:

Fiesta de Lagers: 🍻
5 breweries (Holy Mountain, Bizarre, Metier, Project 9 & Hellbent) featuring 8 lagers. All weekend until kegs pop. Honoring Mexico’s and the world’s favorite beer style. Check out our previous post about Fiesta de Lagers as it contains a lot more juicy details about this tasty lager beers takeover.

Food & drink specials:
We are a brewery that loves to elevate our Mexican heritage through food specials like what we have going on this weekend.
➜ Pork 🐖 & cactus 🌵 salsa verde tamales 🫔: Nopales (cactus) is a staple food in Mexico, especially in the dry arid regions because cactus plants are abundant. Mexicans cook cactus in many different ways including eggs or pork.
➜ Mexican street corn 🌽 on the cob with spicy habanero 🌶️ mayo (or plain mayo for those of us with a spice sensitivity like me).
➜ Albondigas soup: made with Carlton Farms ground pork. Packed with flavor. So good!
➜ Cucumber 🥒 margaritas for those who come thirsty

We were closed today so that we could do a deep clean 🧽 🧹 of every nook and cranny in the taproom and kitchen. We did this so that we can maintain the beauty and cleanliness of our space so that you can enjoy it all year around especially in the sunny 🌞 season.

Stop by Wednesday or any day this week and check out our new plants that are adding color to our outdoor space and enjoy our shiny ✨ taproom with tamales, tacos and cold beer in your hand.

Return to regular business hours happens tomorrow, Wednesday April 10th. Weather is looking great these next ten days. Join us with your friends for a cerveza🍺, tamales and sun kisses on our patio.

You know us for our chunky (and moist) half-pound tamales but you also love our tacos 🌮 We love giving you a variety of protein options like our carnitas, chicken mole, chorizo, garlic shrimp as well as our mushrooms and frijoles tacos.

Our carnitas tacos are the most popular followed by our chicken mole and shrimp tacos. If you haven’t tried our tacos, get yourself an order when you visit us today.

🥗 Ensalada Caesar 🥗
Kale, romaine, shaved parmesan, and croutons, tossed in our house-made caesar dressing. Dressing contains anchovies, dairy, and eggs.

Refried beans with a little kick! Topped with queso fresco and served with our house-made chips.

LIVE MUSIC: Join us for two hours of live salsa, cumbia & merengue tunes played by Son los que son at our sister company, El Sueñito Brewing. Bring a friend or partner and enjoy an evening of live music to celebrate their first anniversary!

Live music begins at 6:00 PM and no tickets are required to join us. Come listen or bring your best dancing 💃 outfit 🕺🏻 — dancing will be encouraged.

The anniversary celebration is happening this Friday & Saturday (Feb. 9-10) featuring special a food menu, raffles, drag brunch (tickets available on their website) and a super special release of our Meztli Stout beer along a special commemorative anniversary pint glass.
