Almost 120 years old. Things like this scale are what makes me enjoy my job. I believe my granny instilled a love for the history of things and how these objects tell the history of those who touched them.
As we plundered through the things in her house she would tell me stories from her childhood.
-“Mama used this apron to hold clothespins”
-“We wore these to church”
-“Daddy kept his to***co in that”
And so on.
