We had WAY too much fun with last week’s challenges, and because “I’m no quitter”, let’s keep this going…shall we?🤣

🔨 💪🏻 WELL…WE HAVE A LITTLE UPDATE!

What we thought would be a one-week remodel has officially turned into a 100-year-old building reminding us that SHE AIN’T NO EASY WIN! (That’s probably why I love her so much)..🤣🤣

Apparently, when you turn 100, you get to make the rules. And considering our beautiful old building was built in 1926, I suppose she’s earned that right. 😂❤️

But first, the GOOD NEWS…

🍳 BEGINNING TUESDAY, THE KITCHEN IS BACK! 🍳

While our dining room remains closed during renovations, we will begin accepting PHONE ORDERS ONLY for pickup starting Tuesday!

📞 Call us with your order.
🥡 We’ll have it ready for pickup.
🚗 And larger orders will be available for local delivery!

We’ll be sharing more details about what we’ll be offering, so keep an eye on our page.

As for the remodel…

We’re giving this girl the time and attention she deserves. ❤️

We miss your smiling faces SO MUCH, and believe me, we’re every bit as anxious for you to see what’s happening behind these doors as you are.

But I’ve always believed that if you’re going to do something, do it RIGHT.

And remodeling a 100-year-old building is apparently a lot like making a really good Southern pound cake…

You can have all the right ingredients.
You can know exactly what you want the end result to be.
But you simply CANNOT rush the process. 😂❤️

So we’re letting her bake. 😂

Every day brings us another step closer, and with every little piece that comes together, we’re getting more excited about what we’re going to be able to share with you.

Thank you for your continued patience, understanding, encouragement and support while we give this very special little corner of downtown Bartow the love she deserves.

One hundred years of history is already inside these walls…

We’re just getting her ready for the next chapter. ❤️🌿

💪🏻 🔨 DAY SEVEN — THE SHANA DETAIL: WILD CARD! 🔨 💪🏻

Well, y’all…we made it to DAY SEVEN! ❤️

All week long, I’ve asked you to climb inside my head—which, quite frankly, was probably a dangerous assignment. 😂

You’ve guessed my colors.
You’ve decorated my walls.
You’ve given me words to live by.
You’ve dreamed up new food.
You’ve picked lighting and fixtures.
You’ve furnished the Cookie Jar AND tackled our patio.

And I have absolutely LOVED seeing what you’ve come up with. Some of you know me scarily well, some of you have given me ideas I hadn’t even considered…and some of you have made me laugh until my stomach hurt. 😂❤️

But today?

THE GLOVES ARE OFF.

There are NO categories. NO rules. NO limits.

Today I want THE SHANA DETAIL.

What is that ONE unexpected thing you think I would absolutely find a way to put into the new Cookie Jar?

Maybe it’s sentimental. ❤️
Maybe it’s hilarious. 😂
Maybe it’s completely over-the-top. ✨
Maybe it honors our history.
Maybe it involves our community.
Maybe it’s something beautiful, quirky, meaningful or completely unnecessary that just screams:

“OH YEAH…SHANA WOULD DO THAT.” 😂

It can be an object. A tradition. An experience. A hidden detail. Something interactive. Something old. Something new. Something completely ridiculous.

Okay, Cookie Jar family…today we’re handing you the imaginary keys and letting YOU rearrange the place! 😂

We’ve got a limited amount of space, and we want to make every single square foot count. So today’s challenge isn’t just about showing me a pretty table or chair…

I want to know what YOU would do with the space!

Would you rather see…

🪑 More tables & chairs so we can welcome more people inside?

🍰 More room for desserts because, let’s be serious, is there actually such a thing as too much dessert? 😂

🍳 More room for food and new menu offerings?

🛋️ A cozy little seating area where you can settle in with coffee and a friend?

✨ Or something completely different that I haven’t even thought of yet?

✨ DAY FIVE: LIGHTING & FIXTURE DAY ✨

We’ve talked colors, finishes, furniture and all those little details that are going to give the new Cookie Jar its personality… but today, we’re turning on the lights. 💡✨

Your challenge for Day Four: Based on everything you’ve seen so far, what kind of lighting do you think I would choose? And don’t stop at the ceiling!

Think chandeliers, pendant lights, sconces, lamps, decorative lighting, hardware and fixtures — all the little finishing touches that can completely change the feeling of a room.

Would I choose something vintage? European-inspired? Feminine and sparkly? Brushed gold? Black? A little unexpected? 👀

Be as creative as you want! Find pictures, describe what you’re imagining, mix styles together — there are no wrong answers. I want to see what you think feels like us.

Okay, y’all…today we’re talking about one of my very favorite subjects:

COOKING FOOD. ❤️👩‍🍳

I’ve always believed that food is a love language. And being from the South, let’s face it—we don’t always just tell you we love you.

We FEED you. 😂

We celebrate with food. We comfort with food. We show up at your door with food. We gather around tables with food. And some of our sweetest memories are attached to a meal (usually a casserole 🤣) somebody made for us with love.

And if you know, YOU KNOW…I’m naturally a hugger. 😂❤️

So that’s today’s challenge:
