Looking back this evening & remembering how far “Journey Zen & Mad-Hatter” has come over the past 4yrs. A remarkable feet of a beautiful idea, countless dreams, a leep of faith, a goal, determination, fellowship, a few nudges and extra pushes and army of people who believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. These pictures don’ t hold a candle to the steps the moves and the people who were there behind the scenes, were there everyday, popped in unexpectedly, friends made in passing, friends who showed up and showed out every step of the way, in my every corner, the late nights, the early mornings, that told the hard truths, that gave insight, that opened doors, that helped moved mountains, that spent countless hours listening, believing, teaching, just being, talking, sitting, working…some tirelessly and endlessly, learning as I learned, growing as I grew. I started going mad during Covid, laid off from Bernheim and Mammy’s and yearning for people. They allowed outdoor events, I had a closet full of crafts and the underside of my bed full of paintings and my children said mom; why don’t you go to a festival: you’ve already got the stuff made, you don’t even have to do any work? Me: who would want my stuff? End of story…I gave it shot and here I am, after a few covid festivals, a short run with a brick and mortar cafe in downtown Bardstown, to a lively mobile food truck; traveling all over serving guests wonderful food and offering my crafts and homemade jams, jellies, syrups, desserts & breads. What a beautiful life Spring Awakens!! God is good…All the time!! With that being said let me announce the new and improved “Fayeth Marie” (our Mobile Food & Crafter) who is undergoing some serious rehabilitation after a water main malfunction and a much needed upgrade since our last event. This is our New Spring Menu!!! I look forward to serving you all and seeing your smiling faces in the months ahead!!! I tagged a few people and events that Ive blessed to be a part of along the way!!
