To our customers, thank you for your support, your encouragement, your patience, your feedback and your investment in us.

To the Angels, thank you for singing the solo and working as a choir. You are the best there is and we are proud to make our investment in you.

To our neighbors and friends, thank you for your unending presence, recommendations, referrals and conversation.

To Oakhurst Dairy and Dennis Paper, thank you for providing us with what we need to do our job.

To the gang at Mainely Meat, thank you for being a part of all of this. We look forward to our 19th season together.

Thank you to my wife Cathy for your support, patience, understanding, encouragement and keeping us solvent.

Finally a big thank you to my brother Jim. He left Florida to endure a harsh Maine summer and returns to Florida to endure a harsh Florida winter. His willingness to jump right into the middle of the muddle was of enormous help. Now to see if we have scared him off from next season.

Over the next couple of nights the plan is to have the window open from 6-8 serving cups and cones with what remains. Maybe a shake, no sundaes, mostly just cups and cones. All proceeds will be donated to the Bar Harbor Back Pack Program.

After that, it is a little R&R, some travel and get ready to be back at it in May.

As we approach the end of each season, we always look forward to recognizing our tenured Angels who have reached an educational milestone. It is a bittersweet opportunity to sing their praises and yet know the path they choose in the coming months may lead them in a different direction. We are proud to present Scholarship Commitment Rewards to three such Angels.

Mabel - completed 4 seasons here and is now off to Spain and then on to Syracuse! Si, Go Orange!

Amaya - Heading back to the University of Maine after 2+ seasons with us. Being a UNH fan, it pains me greatly to say "Go Bears".

Sage - when she started with us 3 seasons ago, she was only 5 buckets tall. Wow! She is already attending cosmetology school. I am ready for the makeover when she finishes.

Cathy and I wish to sincerely thank you for all you have done. However we are really most impressed with who you have become during your time here. Thank you for your commitment and we are thrilled to make this investment in you.

"Say it ain't so Joe". And even if my name is not Joe, it is in fact time to begin tuning up the snowblower! Starting on Monday 8/24 our hours will be reduced. Mon - Thurs 1 - 8, Fri & Sat 1 -8:30, and Sunday back to 1 - 8. After that, we will reduce our hours even further as our student angels go back to class.

Hi, college exodus has begun and since our focus has always been on students, this time of year is particularly difficult. If any of you know those more short of tooth who might be looking for a few dollars to acquire their fall wardrobe please keep us in mind. Starting pay is between $16 and $18 plus gratuities depending on your life experience. Can't promise it, but gratuities usually run at least another $5+ an hour. This is short gig as we close for the season on or before 9/25. We also continue our search for a production person, actually making the ice cream, no customer interaction. Pay starts at $18 and your experience takes us from there. LIfting 45 lbs. is fundamental and exact. Must follow recipes and follow our procedures. Bob
